We tried this place for the first time since our friends suggested it. It was ok, the chips were a little stale and the salsa watery, and the queso was sort of comparable to cheez whiz (sp)
I ordered ground beef enchiladas and the waitress kept repeating fajita which I corrected multiple times. I got fajita meat :-( which was disappointing, the waitress should have just said we don't have ground beef.
My boyfriend had the Carne Guisada and he said it was really good!!
Other reviews said the portions were small, but I thought the portions were just right. I left still extremely full.
It was a little quiet in there which made it kind of awkward. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. Over all this place is ok. -

Tried this place. Salsa too hot, queso tasted like it came from a jar. Chicken enchiladas we're dry. Tortillas were actually burnt and black. Small portions of beans, rice and teaspoon of guacamole. Definitely, would not go back or recommend this place. Waitress was very nice and only a few customers were there. Slow service.

Worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. Seriously. I went here with high expectations even though I'd never heard of it (should've known better). A friend raved about it and once I saw it was a little hole in the wall joint I couldn't get there fast enough. The chips and hot sauce were pretty good but the free queso they bring out was disgusting. It tasted like watered down concession stand nacho "cheese". I ordered the cheese enchiladas with red sauce and they tasted so bad...almost like the sauce was 95% Campbell's tomato soup. I had also ordered a beef enchilada with green sauce on the side so I could taste it too. It was equally bad. The beef was dry, over cooked steak of some sort, chopped finely. The beans had that straight from the can taste and the guacamole was slimy and packaged tasting. I gave up after 4 bites. My son ordered carne asada and it was burned and as tough as a boot. He literally had to spit it into his napkin...he could not chew it. Also the tea tasted like it was made from dirty dish water...maybe just tap water, but gross nonetheless. Stay away...far far away. Visit Yole's, La Carreta or La Familia for great local Mexican food.

Definitely a great find in college station. This little Mexican restaurant is tucked away on the side street in Downtown Brayn. Honestly, you'd only be able to find it if you knew where to look but it is a great spot.
We came here on a Tuesday night and the place was absolutely deserted. Such a sad site for a rare gem! I highly recommend this spot. The salsa and quest was amazing. Although the chips were just a hair stale. Probably because they weren't getting eaten fast enough that night.
I ended up ordering chicken tacos and they were simply amazing! They were some of the best tacos I've had in BCS. Best part? I didn't even spend more than 5 bucks. The only thing I do have to warn you about this place is that the salsa is spicy. I know a lot of people that have a low spice tolerance claim things are spicy. But, I generally don't find many foods spicy and I was literally crying and choking from the heat. It's got an amazing flavor, but just go a little easy on the squirting. -

No one seats you or tells you to seat yourself. Received one small basket of chips, queso and pico. Never got anymore chips for the 4 of us. Food was ok, but portions are tiny. Ordered enchiladas and received 4 small ones, about the size of little tamales, 2 tablespoons of beans, 2 tablespoons of rice, small portion of lettuce. Not much food for the price, taco bell would be more food and a lot cheaper with better service.
